CRESST will bring together experts in education assessment research at CRESSTCON’18 on October 1-2 at the UCLA Luskin Conference Center. This year’s theme, “Learning Together: Building Partnerships to Accelerate Excellence and Equity,” will be represented by visionaries in assessment, educational technology, policy and economics.

“I am especially excited about the intersection of educational research and practice in multiple countries that focus on more equitable improvement of outcomes,” said CRESST Director Li Cai. “Speakers will share their experiences of overcoming roadblocks and building bridges with other practitioners to accelerate excellence and equity in education.”

CRESSTCON’18 will unite educators, researchers and developers from around the world with a common vision of sharing our best practices and improving the academic outcomes of every student. Well-known education leaders such as Pedro Noguera, Alan Kay and Jim Shelton have participated in previous CRESSTCONs.

Our keynote speakers for this year are Bror Saxberg, Vice President, Learning Science at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), and Marcelo M. Suárez-Orozco, the Wasserman Dean, UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. Our renowned speakers will share their experiences of overcoming roadblocks, building bridges, and working with other practitioners to accelerate excellence and equity.
