Consequences of Correcting Measurement Errors in Value-Added Models

This study provides an overview of two measurement error correction methods: Error in variable regression and latent variable approach. There is a comparison of value added estimates (VAE) with and without measurement error correction to find out who and why are the teachers beneftting the most with measurement error correction. The study delineates the policy implications of implementing measurement error correction.
